Quando Youssef Balla ha preso la sua valigia diplomatica da Lima per Roma nell'estate del 2019, sapeva che la missione affidatagli da Sua Maestà il Re Mohammed VI non era semplice protocollo. L'Italia è il secondo paese ospitante della comunità marocchina nel mondo dopo la Francia — un milione di marocchini meritano un'ambasciata che incarni davvero il peso della presenza marocchina e la profondità dei rapporti bilaterali che si estendono da oltre 130 anni.
When Youssef Balla packed his diplomatic bags from Lima heading to Rome in summer 2019, he knew that the mission entrusted to him by His Majesty King Mohammed VI was no ordinary protocol. Italy is the second largest host country of the Moroccan diaspora in the world after France — one million Moroccans deserve an embassy that truly embodies the weight of Moroccan presence and the depth of bilateral relations stretching back over 130 years.
Lorsque Youssef Balla a fait ses bagages diplomatiques depuis Lima pour Rome à l'été 2019, il savait que la mission que lui avait confiée Sa Majesté le Roi Mohammed VI n'était pas un simple protocole.
